The ideal candidate for this position will have experience teaching group exercise classes like Kettlebells or Group Cycle. The role involves supervision of the gym facilities and member interaction to ensure that all members get to train in a motivating, clean and safe environment. There will also be some involvement in other areas of the sports centre including reception duties, sports hall setup, and welcoming club members to ensure that they have an excellent experience at Kingfisher Club.Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo welcome visitors to the club in a warm and friendly manner.To supervise and monitor pool, gym, sauna, steam-room, sports hall and changing room areas, ensuring that all areas are kept in a safe hygienic manner and that all equipment is being used correctly and safely.To carry out effective cleaning of all areas in accordance with documented proceduresTo maintain all equipment in a workable and functioning condition by reporting maintenance issues as they arise.To carry out fitness assessments with club members.To design and implement effective fitness programs for club members.To monitor the gym floors & studios making sure all users exercise safely and assist members with any questions that may arise.To confidently and professionally deliver fitness classes if requiredTo ensure that all visitors receive personal and focused attention at all times.To attend training sessions & meetings as required.To ensure that all company standards of performance are consistently adhered to.To comply with company regulations regarding fire, health & safety, hygiene, customer care and security.Job Type: Full-timePay: €13.50-€15.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 per weekBenefits:Employee assistance programEmployee discountGym membershipOn-site gymOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
