You will work closely with the Site Foreman and Project Manager as well as a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to deliver cutting-edge projects.ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include but not limited to:The Chargehand leads a crew of direct & subcontract labour, while remaining on their tools.Support the Foreman / Site Supervisor with the daily site management tasks.Ensure scope of work is deliveredEnsure all additional requests outside the scope are captured and communicated to project Quantity Surveyor (QS) team.Ensure no breaches of Health and Safety protocols.Always be a role model for “best in class” quality standards throughout the project by ensuring they themselves are synonymous with these standards.Actively develop a culture where safety & quality are central to the mindset of each crew memberEnsure works are carried out to a high standard while complying with building regulations, National Rules for Electrical Installations, Health and Safety and environmental standards.Provide LOTO when and where requiredEnsure all permits / SPA’s required for the planned works are in placeThis role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to commercial, pharmaceutical, life sciences, blue chip, construction, and other sectors.
