Cross Agricultural Engineering Ltd. is currently seeking a trainee—spare parts advisor.

Cross Agricultural Engineering is an Irish-owned company based in Rathangan, Co. Kildare, specializing in the design and manufacture of high-quality machinery for farmers, biogas operators, food processors, and commercial use.
We employ over 50 staff at our modern, purpose-built factory, and we're proud to support farmers with a full spare parts and service backup. Our parts department supplies farmers locally and worldwide.
We're now looking for a hands-on, organized spare parts advisor with an interest in farming machinery to join our team.
What the Job Involves:
Ordering & Purchasing: Price and order parts from suppliers, and keep track of deliveries and lead times.
Customer Service: Help farmers and contractors at the trade counter or over the phone with spare parts and technical queries.
Stock Management: Receive and check deliveries, keep the stores tidy and well-stocked, and work with a junior staff member to manage the space.
Dispatch & Packaging: Pack and ship orders to customers—both local and international.
General Duties: Load/unload deliveries, process sales through the till system, and assist with day-to-day running of the stores.
What We're Looking For:
Someone with a strong interest in farm machinery or mechanical parts (experience is a bonus, but not essential).
Friendly and confident when dealing with farmers, hauliers, and suppliers.
Organized and reliable, with a good eye for detail.
Comfortable using a computer (email, basic stock system).
Capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a team.
A good attitude and willingness to get stuck in are key.
