We are seeking an L&D Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Musgrave L&D team, retail store colleagues, and regional teams to design, implement, and review people development plans for each store from an L&D perspective. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Working with Regional Managers & Retail Partners to provide tailored training and advice, influencing and coaching store owners where appropriate.
2. Coordinating and delivering on-site Customer Service Training with retail teams.
3. Advising Owners & Managers on tools & techniques to exceed customer expectations and grow their business through their people.
4. Supporting SuperValu & Centra Retailers to lead positive cultural change.
5. Coordinating and delivering on-site Leadership and Management Training (e.g., Feedback, Coaching, Communication Skills).
6. Assisting store owners & managers in conducting training needs analyses and developing learning plans via the Musgrave Institute.
7. Facilitating workshops with Store Owners, Managers, and other stakeholders to promote continuous improvement and behavioral change initiatives.
8. Advising on all aspects of Learning & Development, career development, and employee engagement.
9. Assessing service levels and regional performance through audits and internal assessments.
10. Supporting the rollout of our new Digital Learning Platform.
11. Participating in various HR projects and supporting other Musgrave brands as needed.
Experience, Skills & Education
* Strong coaching and facilitation skills capable of engaging diverse audiences.
* Interest in the retail sector with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to large groups.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a training-related role.
* Experience in a Learning and Development role is advantageous.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Relationship-building and influencing skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Full driving license is essential.
Desirable
* Certification in Training or Coaching, or IITD qualification.
* Experience in E-Learning Design.
* Experience implementing a learning experience platform.
