Clinical Facilitator Role
The role of a Clinical Facilitator involves guiding and supporting nurses and healthcare assistants in their clinical practice. The successful applicant will work as part of the Nurse Practice Development team to promote and maintain high standards of nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance and support to nurses and healthcare assistants in clinical practice, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Nurse Practice Development: Work collaboratively with the Nurse Practice Development team to develop and implement strategies that promote and maintain high standards of nursing care, quality improvement projects, research, and policy development.
* Clinical Learning Environment: Promote and maintain a clinical learning environment that supports the ongoing education and development of nurses and healthcare assistants.
Requirements:
* Registration: Registered in the General Division of the register kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland.
* Qualifications: Must hold a BSc Nursing Degree. A Masters Degree is highly desirable and would be a distinct advantage.
* Experience: At least 5 years post-registration experience in the clinical area of an acute General Hospital.
