About the role: As a Technician in Spirit Motor Group you will report to the Workshop Controller You will be involved in the end to end process of preparing, servicing, diagnosing, testing and repairing faults to the highest standards of the Spirit Motor Group as well as the manufacturers specifications and guidelines Working with our brand range including the latest release models including PHEV and EV You will receive up to date training in relevant technologies as the brands evolve, upgrade and grow their range and models You will be working with the team performing and reporting on vehicle health checks Your will liaising with the service desk to communicate requirements, additional parts and repairs on customer vehicles.
Working as part of a team, supporting the training of apprentices and helping colleagues Skills and experience: At least 3 years experience in a main dealership as a qualified technician - Volvo, Jaguar Land Rover or VWG Fluent written and spoke English with good numeracy skills Experience working with EV and PHEV vehicles is not essential but an advantage Attention to detail when completing documentation and IT systems Full, valid, clean driving licence for Ireland Knowledge and understanding of health and safety practices in the industry Reward package: Competitive Salary 22 days paid annual leave FastTrack brand Manufacturer Training Team and individual bonus plans Overtime Employee offers and retail discounts Employee Assistance Programme Skills: Technician Main Dealership Vehicle Diagnostics Vehicle repair
