What you need to know Our client is an industry-leading manufacturing facility based in Longford.
Due to ongoing project requirements, they are now seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Your new job As a Supply Chain Planner, you will work as part of the Planning Team and be responsible for sourcing and ordering raw materials and packaging based on MRP requirements.
You will play a vital role in ensuring material availability, maintaining supplier relationships, managing inventory reporting, and supporting supply chain operations to meet production demands. Supply Chain Planner Responsibilities:Act as a, ensuring weekly ordering of raw materials and packaging in line with MRP system requirementsMonitor and manage the availability of materials and packaging to support production plansBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships; keep accurate records of lead times, purchasing terms, and order quantitiesEnsure the accuracy of data within MRP systems and support necessary planning adjustmentsProvide regular inventory level reporting and contribute to materials-at-risk and obsolescence processesParticipate in daily Planning & Logistics meetings as a key Supply Chain Planning representativeCoordinate supplier delivery bookings to ensure on-time availability of materials for manufacturing schedulesSupply Chain Planner requirements:Experience in a Supply Chain Planner, Materials Planner, or Production Planning role is essentialStrong Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office Suite skillsSAP ERP experience is highly desirableExcellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlinesStrong communication skills to collaborate across functions and with suppliersApply for this job now or get in touch withTinaon087- 4086665
