**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with the ability to oversee multiple projects from initiation to completion.
The Project Lead will work closely with design teams and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. This will involve monitoring project risks, reviewing designs, and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of progress.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines. They will also have a deep understanding of construction delivery programs and be able to continuously review and improve processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage multiple projects from initiation to completion
* Oversee contract administration, secure project funding, and ensure tight cost controls
* Monitor project risks and report progress to stakeholders
* Review designs and ensure they meet project briefs, specifications, and scope of services documents
* Conduct performance reviews of professional consultants and contractors
* Maintain a good knowledge of government public works capital contracts and procedures

**Financial Monitoring & Control:**
* Ensure the development program is delivered on time and within budget
* Monitor financials of each project and submit certificates and invoices for payment
* Maintain payment trackers and report on same to the development manager
* Submit funding applications to local authorities and the department of housing, local government & heritage
**Dispute Resolution:**
* Assist in dispute resolution on projects, working with the development manager, director, and solicitors
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in project management
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines
* Deep understanding of construction delivery programs
