Experienced Catering Assistant / Supervisor – Clonmel
Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Catering Assistant / Supervisor to support a busy catering and deli operation in the Clonmel area. This role is suited to a hands-on hospitality professional who is confident leading service, working with food, and managing tills in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
1. Support the day-to-day running of a busy deli and catering unit
2. Assist with food preparation, deli service, and presentation
3. Operate the till and handle customer transactions accurately
4. Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service
5. Ensure compliance with HACCP and health & safety procedures
6. Work independently to keep service running smoothly
What We're Looking For
7. Previous experience in a deli, catering, or food-service environment
8. Confidence operating tills and handling cash
9. Experience supervising or supporting staff an advantage
10. Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
11. Ability to work efficiently in a busy setting
12. Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
13. HACCP certification required (training can be facilitated if needed)
