Job Description:
The EHR Stream Lead will provide functional, integrated business workflow leadership between relevant modules and systems for the deployment of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) across healthcare organizations in Ireland.
Reporting to the EHR Director of Implementation and accountable to the EHR Steering Group, this role involves providing strong credibility across the programme area, overseeing work and risk management within allocated workstreams, and driving collaboration and consensus with the business.
* Develop an overall Stream and Workstream project plan, including schedules, scope, and desired outcomes, for approval by the Programme SMT and associated senior governance fora.
* Manage, report, and escalate issues and risks as appropriate to the Programme SMT and vendors.
* Report, qualify, quantify, and outline the delivery plan by the business for expected benefits from the deployment of the EHR.
Additional responsibilities include leading the decision-making process towards the resolution of issues impacting milestone achievements, establishing a project team, allocating responsibilities, collaborating with IT/CI teams, and managing competing resource requirements across multiple workstreams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Candidates should have an undergraduate degree and considerable digital healthcare deployment experience. A project management designation (PMP, Prince2, graduate certificate in project management or equivalent experience) is also required.
At least 2 years' experience managing multiple projects and 5 or more years' experience as a project manager are necessary. Experience leading deployment of HIS/CIS systems, preferably MEDITECH, is preferred, along with business designation and background in the healthcare delivery industry.
