Violating Actor Networks (VAN)
—webs of accounts, entities, and activities designed to evade enforcement and abuse online systems.
This role is not just about labeling data—it's about
training AI to think like an investigator.
By spotting hidden links, surfacing anomalies, and enforcing high-quality standards, you'll be at the forefront of building safer, more trustworthy digital spaces.
What You'll Do
* Conduct detailed annotation of data tied to
violating actors & networks
to support large language model (LLM) training.
* Ensure labeling accuracy, consistency, and alignment with evolving policies and guidelines.
* Identify and document suspicious patterns, anomalies, and evasive tactics across accounts, pages, and networks.
* Partner with internal teams to refine "golden sets" for quality control and calibration.
* Participate in quality assurance reviews and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
* Stay sharp on integrity policies, evolving abusive behaviors, and industry best practices.
What Makes You a Great Fit
* Investigative mindset:
Experience in investigations, content moderation, fraud detection, or related domains.
* Detail-driven:
Skilled at pattern recognition and rationalizing complex policy scenarios.
* Proven rigor:
Background in regimented, quota-driven, or policy-heavy environments.
* Collaborative communicator:
Able to align with multiple stakeholders while working independently.
Nice to Have
* Exposure to AI/ML model training or data annotation.
* Knowledge of social media platforms, account structures, and enforcement tactics.
* Experience with vendor management or calibration.
* Training or certification in moderation, labeling, or policy enforcement.
This opportunity is a contract for 11 months, potential for extension depending on project progress, onsite in Dublin 4, paying €72,000 per annum pro rata.
