Key Production Technician Role

* As part of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of production machines during your shift, working closely with the supervisor to achieve this goal.
* Troubleshooting and fine-tuning processes to identify and resolve issues quickly is essential in this position.
* Removing and setting up moulds in machines efficiently is also a critical aspect of the job.
* Adhering to documented specifications at all times is paramount to success in this role.
* Collaborating with the supervisor to ensure seamless operation of the production department during the shift is crucial.
* Making a positive contribution to overall company performance in areas such as output, quality, safety, people management, and cost is expected.
* Working closely with the Shift Production Supervisor to optimize production output and manufacture products to high-quality standards.
* Organizing and planning production effectively to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
* Monitoring and reviewing production output, machine performance, quality, reject levels, and resource utilization.
* Assisting in mould changeovers, machine maintenance, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
* Providing leadership and effective communication with the team.
* Ensuring adequate materials are available throughout the shift.
* Ensuring employees receive necessary training and maintaining accurate records.
* Regularly refreshing training where required.
* Creating a safe and incident-free work environment.
* Ensuring adherence to cleanroom and hygiene regulations at all times.
* Maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures.
* Keeping management informed of any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role within a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant technical qualifications (QQI Level 6, Diploma, or equivalent) in engineering, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing disciplines are desirable but not essential.
* Experience in GMP regulated environments is highly desirable.
* A basic understanding of injection moulding, silicone moulding, or automated assembly processes is beneficial.
