Design and develop advanced LC-MS/MS workflows (Orbitrap-based) for the characterisation of proteins, peptides, oligonucleotides and complex biologics.Lead the development and application of novel MS techniques (e.g. native MS, charge detection MS) for in-depth biopharmaceutical characterisation.Apply and optimise advanced data analysis and bioinformatics approaches to interpret complex spectral datasets.Drive method development and innovation, moving beyond routine analysis to solve complex scientific challenges.Generate high-quality scientific outputs, including publications, reports, and conference presentations.Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support ongoing research and capability development.RequirementsPhD in a relevant scientific discipline with significant hands‑on experience in high‑resolution LC‑MS (Orbitrap essential).Demonstrated expertise in advanced MS method development, particularly for protein, peptide or oligonucleotide characterisation.Strong publication record evidencing deep technical expertise in mass spectrometry and data interpretation.Experience with complex MS data analysis, including the use of advanced bioinformatics tools and workflows.Background in either:Postdoctoral research (with strong publications) ORIndustry roles with deep, hands‑on MS expertise (not routine QC testing.)
