Senior Slaughter Line Manager
Overview
- Full-time position responsible for the efficient running of slaughter line facilities, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee slaughter line processes, carcass loading, and chill operations to meet required productivity levels.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure maximum uptime and implement plans for production efficiency.
- Foster a culture of root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on activity, productivity, costs, deviations, initiatives, and corrective actions.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Yield and efficiency optimization
- Product quality and adherence to specifications for customer and factory requirements
- Hygiene standards as per HACCP guidelines, working closely with the Quality Assurance team
- Staff attendance management, in collaboration with HR
- Regulatory compliance and audits

- Proven management experience in a livestock slaughter and processing facility
- Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and maintenance requirements
- Customer-focused approach to production and quality control
- Experience with lean management and process improvement techniques
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
