The Role
Full-time: 40 hours per week (4 or 5-day week options)
No OOH or on-call enjoy your evenings and weekends
1 in 4 Saturdays (10:30 am-1:30 pm)
Flexible working options available – tell us what works best for you
Surgically focused or GP role available – we'll tailor your caseload to your interests
You'll work alongside a friendly, experienced team of 4 Vets, 4 nurses, a Practice Manager and dedicated support staff.
Our clinicians have the tools and autonomy to work cases up to a high standard, with excellent facilities including digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and blood pressure monitoring.
Who We're Looking For
You're an accomplished VCI-registered Veterinary Surgeon with strong clinical foundations, sound decision-making, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in setting high standards – both for yourself and those around you.
We're seeking a confident Lead or Senior Vet ready to play an influential role within our team – whether you're already an experienced leader or an ambitious clinician eager to take the next step.
For those aspiring to progress into a Clinical Director or leadership position, we offer structured leadership training and ongoing mentorship to help you grow into that role.
We'd particularly love to hear from you if you have:
A strong interest or certificate in surgery (or are currently working towards one) – though we're equally supportive of other special interests and will tailor your caseload accordingly
A proven ability to manage a varied caseload and work cases up to a high clinical standard
Natural leadership qualities – the confidence to guide, mentor, and inspire junior colleagues
Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset that fosters collaboration and trust
(This position is not suitable for new graduates or those requiring close day-to-day mentoring.)
