Coleman Legal LLP is a very busy litigation practice based in Dublin 1. As part of the firm's continuing growth, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary to work as part of a dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in plaintiff litigation. The role is full time.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Providing solicitors with support and assistance
- Producing legal documents
- Preparation of documentation for court
- Briefing and liasing with counsel
- Liasing with various experts as required
- Reviewing Discovery
- Manage filing and archiving
- Communicating with clients on instruction of solicitors
- Other general administration duties as required
Job requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' litigation experience, including personal injury, historical sexual abuse, and medical negligence
- A high level of computer proficiency and familiarity with MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience with a case management system (experience with Keyhouse would be of advantage)
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload
- Ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- A good work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Salary - competitive, based on experience
- Centrally located, close to luas, bus and dart lines
- Skills: civil litigation, legal research
