Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Location: Aurivo Dairy Ingredients, Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon.

Opportunity
Aurivo is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join the team in Aurivo Dairy Ingredients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within one of Ireland's leading multi‑disciplined co‑operatives. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and dedicated team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
 * Carry out repair and maintenance work on equipment.
 * Perform facility electrical maintenance.
 * Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery and production lines.
 * Perform electrical maintenance across the facility, including equipment and infrastructure.
 * Equipment installation and commissioning.
 * Problem solving and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
 * Preventative maintenance and periodic testing of equipment.
 * Complete site documentation as appropriate.
 * Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
 * Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support production goals.
 * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
 * Preform related duties as required by the Area Supervisor.
Ideal Candidate
 * A trade qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
 * Minimum of 5 years' industrial experience in a maintenance or electrical role.
 * A working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
 * Experience working across a broad range of voltages in industrial settings.
 * A knowledge of electro‑pneumatics.
 * Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
 * Experience with instrumentation and process control equipment.
 * Experience with electrical / controls schematics.
 * Strong hands‑on technical ability.
 * High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
 * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
