Role Overview
The Senior Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for end-to-end production and supply chain planning, including raw material procurement, production scheduling, and shipment coordination. This role is vital in responding to customer demand, managing inventory, and supporting new product launches in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage plant production schedules and raw material procurement plans.
* Collaborate with purchasing, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely material availability.
* Analyze customer forecasts and manage capacity planning.
* Support new product development with materials planning and RFQ processes.
* Monitor and improve inventory health through metrics, reports, and MRP systems.
* Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory standards.
* Participate in cross-functional projects, change management, and supplier performance reviews.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree preferred; APICS certification is advantageous.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in production scheduling and/or material planning/purchasing.
* Strong proficiency in SAP and understanding of supply chain and purchasing processes.
* Knowledge of EHS regulations and quality standards.
* Experience with continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
