Location: South Dublin (Hybrid – 2 days on site).

The Role
Are you an experienced Commercial Underwriter This is a fantastic opportunity where you will play a key part in evaluating and underwriting multi-line commercial business, working closely with broker partners and internal sales teams to drive growth while maintaining underwriting discipline.
Key Responsibilities
1. Underwrite Commercial Property and Liability business in line with company standards and risk appetite.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with broker partners and internal stakeholders.
3. Support business growth by identifying and securing new opportunities while ensuring quality risk selection.
4. Utilize pricing tools and maintain underwriting discipline to achieve financial objectives.
5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior underwriting staff.
6. Monitor market trends and contribute to the development of product strategies.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal underwriting policies.
What You Need to Succeed
8. 4+ years of experience in Commercial Underwriting.
9. CIP qualified
10. Strong technical knowledge of insurance products and underwriting principles.
11. Proven ability to make sound underwriting decisions and manage risk effectively.
12. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a track record of building strong professional relationships.
13. Self-motivated, ambitious, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
