We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Delivery Manager to join our customer's team in Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, process improvement, and Agile methodologies. As a Delivery Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize our delivery processes.
Required Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
* 7+ years of experience in project management and delivery, with a focus on process improvement and Agile methodologies
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
* Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) and/or Agile (CSM, PMI-ACP) is preferred
Project Delivery:
* Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery against established timelines, budgets, and quality standards
* Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
* Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies
* Monitor and track project progress, providing regular status updates to stakeholders
* Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Process Improvement:
* Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
* Analyse project performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
* Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to streamline project delivery
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the delivery team
Agile Methodologies:
* Champion the use of Agile methodologies across project teams
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
* Ensure that Agile practices are followed, and teams are adhering to Agile principles
* Provide coaching and support to teams on Agile practices and tools
Stakeholder Management:
* Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Manage stakeholder communication and ensure that project updates are communicated effectively
* Lead and mentor a team of project managers, business analysts, and other project delivery staff
* Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
* Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
* Identify training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities
* Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to address potential issues
* Ensure that risk management practices are integrated into the project delivery process
* Monitor and report on risk status to stakeholders
