Job Summary:
A Site Operations Manager is required to oversee the delivery of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage project teams, including foremen, operatives, and subcontractors, to ensure effective coordination and clear understanding of project requirements.
* Conduct regular site inspections to review progress, inspecting rebar, concrete placement, and utility installations.
* Review technical submissions prior to upload to design team, ensuring accurate representation of work areas.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain a smooth project workflow.
* Record daily activities, relevant information, and occurrences in a site diary, including surveys of completed works and drafting as-built drawings.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (desirable).
* Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, ICE) advantageous.
* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project management techniques, and industry standards.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
