Bridhaven Nursing Home are expanding and have an exciting opportunity for a caring energetic, compassionate, kind, creative and reliable Activities Coordinator to join our team.
The Activities Coordinator will deliver activities that enrich residents' lives and help implementing a regular schedule of activities to allow residents to enjoy creative expression, socialisation and exercise.

Main Responsibilities
 * Deliver activities program under supervision of the activities manager
 * Document activities attended
 * Assist residents to the different events and group activities
 * Maintain activities store clean and tidy
 * Assist resident to the hairdressing salon
 * Provide assistance during meals
 * Provide assistance for the use of the garden spaces
Requirements
 * FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or related field/Care Assistant Background - Care of the Older Person, Dementia Care and Palliative Care Support Modules are desirable or willing to complete.
 * Experience in design and delivery of activities for older people.
 * Previous experience of doing activities in a residential care centre.
 * Sonas training desirable or willing to complete.
 * Imagination Gym training desirable or willing to complete
