Your expertise will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring site Health & Safety policies that meet legislative requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, and monitor site Health & Safety policies in line with legislation and industry guidelines.

* Conduct regular risk assessments, fire drills, and safety inspections of all facilities to ensure compliance.

* Maintain up-to-date safety records, incident logs, and statutory compliance registers to track progress.
">
* Respond to emergencies and incidents, taking immediate action to safeguard residents and staff.
">
* Prepare incident reports and collaborate with external agencies as required.
">

Staff Training and Guidance
">
">
* Train and guide staff on safety protocols and emergency response procedures to ensure they are equipped to handle any situation.

* Deliver regular safety briefings and compliance training to staff to reinforce their understanding of health and safety best practices.

Safety Procedures and Compliance

* Ensure contractors and external service providers adhere to centre safety rules and regulations.

* Supervise adherence to occupational safety standards across shifts to maintain a safe working environment.

* Guarantee the building is secure and safe for residents, with clear safety procedures communicated in multiple languages.

* Provide information to residents about safety practices, fire procedures, and reporting channels to empower them to take an active role in maintaining a safe environment.

Reporting and Compliance

* Arrange safe transport for residents to legal, medical, or welfare appointments, ensuring compliance with safeguarding standards.

* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.

* Monitor and audit systems for resident data, security, and operational compliance to identify areas for improvement.

* Elevate safety issues promptly and propose corrective measures to mitigate risks.

Requirements and Skills

* A proven track record in administrative, compliance, or supervisory roles within service environments.

* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail in reporting and record-keeping.

* Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

* Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English; additional languages are desirable.

* Ability to manage unexpected challenges calmly and effectively.

* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and emergencies.

* Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations, fire safety standards, and compliance frameworks is highly desirable.
