About Your New Job
Senior Quantity Surveyor required to help successfully deliver our projects and form a key part of our Surveying Department.
Some of the key Responsibilities include:
Understand contract obligations and any other undertakings to the client
Be responsible for submitting interim Payment Claim Notices and final claims.
Ensure close co-operation with Contracts and Site Managers as regards assessment of
progress, identification and evaluation of variations and additions to the original contract work.
Liaise with Contracts Managers to ensure that claims issued are comprehensive.
Ensure valuations & invoices are issued promptly.
Report in detail as required by the Commercial Manager, on the financial status of the project.
Negotiate, as necessary, with subcontractors, clients and/or their representatives.
What You’ll Need For This Job
3rd Level Qualification (Degree/Diploma) in Construction Economics/Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
8-10 years + experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a Main Contractor.
Excellent reporting, analytical and computer skills.
