Offer description

Our client, a large Law Firm based in Dublin City, are looking to recruit a Senior Company Secretary to join their team. This a permanent position and will work most closely with a small team of more junior Company Secretaries, but be connected to a wider team. Our client is looking for a strong team player, who is CGI qualified, has working knowledge of the Companies Act 2014, and a willingness to train junior team members.

Salary:
up to €90k

The Role:

* Managing a large portfolio of corporate clients.
* Advising clients in relation to their corporate compliance obligations and arranging for the preparation and filing of statutory forms at the Companies Registration Office.
* Drafting of minutes and resolutions in respect of AGMs, EGMs and board meetings.
* Preparation of documentation for various statutory changes, such as amendments to constitutions, change in name etc.
* Occasional attendance at board meetings and taking minutes. May involve travel to client's offices.
* Updating company secretarial databases.
* Maintenance of company secretarial records to include updating Minute Books and Statutory Registers.
* Assisting with requests from clients, auditors, solicitors and internal staff.
* Responsibility for billing clients and debtors' collection and for meeting the department's budgetary targets.
* Team management
* Advising clients and the firm's other departments on statutory requirements.
* Assist with the notarisation and apostilling of documents.
* Administration of Branches, to include relevant Companies Registration Office filings.
* Ad hoc assignments.

The Candidate:

* CGI qualified. Unfortunately we can't consider candidates who are not CGI qualified.
* 5+ years experience as a Company Secretary
* Working knowledge of Irish company law and familiarity with the Companies Act, 2014
* Conscientious, personable and adaptable.
