Job Description
As an Addiction Counsellor, you will be working in a residential rehabilitation centre providing care and support to individuals struggling with addiction. Your primary role is to deliver services effectively while adhering to the centre's policies and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing continuity and support for students, part-time workers, and volunteers.
* Working collaboratively as part of a team to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate should have experience working in an addiction service or similar setting. Relevant qualifications such as a third-level qualification in addiction studies or social care are essential. Additionally, counselling/psychotherapy accreditation with ACI, IACP, or equivalent body is required.
You must be able to develop constructive relationships with clients & team members. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork.
