Legal Bookkeeper Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping duties, processing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping duties in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules
* Process financial transactions, including office and client account entries
* Reconcile bank accounts and prepare financial reports
* Manage payment runs and liaise with suppliers and clients regarding accounts
* SUPPORT fee earners and management with financial information and queries
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven bookkeeping experience (legal sector experience preferred)
* High attention to detail with excellent numerical skills
* Strong IT skills, including experience with accounts software
* Able to work independently and manage time effectively
* A discreet and professional approach to handling sensitive financial information
