Job Description
API PROJECT ENGINEERS x 2 required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational Pharmaceutical client at their API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) site in Cork...initial 12 month contract on offer.
The API PROJECT ENGINEERS need to have a relevant degree (chemical, process engineering) AND a minimum of 5 years in a Project Engineering role (not C&Q or similar) from an API (active pharmaceutical ingredient) environment.
NOTE: No sponsorship is provided for this role so applicants need to already have Irish / EU citizenship OR the relevant Stamp / Visa in place.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible and accountable for assuring the safe accomplishment of job activities, following good environmental practices and procedures. Commit to and demonstrate safe behavior in every activity.
2. Carry out routine and non-routine tasks delegated by the Manager according to appropriate procedures, values and standards.
3. Carry out all activities in compliance with corporate and cGMP/EHS regulatory requirements.
4. Compliance with Engineering and general site procedures at all times
5. Completion of all documentation in compliance with site procedures and GDP
6. Prioritize and schedule activities to support business needs and to meet requirements of Master Production Schedules
7. Lead and Support investigation and resolution of problems on plant.
8. Generate and assist with generation, review and revision of Engineering documentation as necessary.
9. Ensure that personal training requirements are completed in compliance with site procedures.
10. Support ongoing studies by Operations, Quality Validation, MSAT, Facilities and other support functions.
11. Support external site visits as required for project related activities.
12. Travel to other J&J sites and other external sites for business related activities as required.
13. Lead by example and strive to perform to high standards at all times.
