Maintenance Planner
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating all maintenance activities within their assigned area. This role ensures alignment across teams, acting as the central link between maintenance workstreams.
The successful Maintenance Planner will serve as the main contact for assigned maintenance crews, covering both Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) and Mechanical disciplines. They will also manage maintenance tasks within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring all work is documented, compliant, and audit-ready at all times.
Description of Duties:
* Ensure all maintenance activities are done safely, timely and compliantly in line with company standards.
* Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
* Be the Point of contact for Safety and Quality related questions from craft personnel.
* Troubleshoot maintenance issues within area of responsibility.
* Own the planning and scheduling (where applicable) of preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure that all preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed as scheduled in the CMMS.
* Planning and documenting how work is to be completed.
* Ensuring spare parts are available and liaise with engineering stores.
* Co-ordinate the various craft disciplines and vendors to execute Maintenance activities to the highest standards.
* Ensure all work is documented appropriately following ALCOA+ principles.
* Updating of job plans to ensure accuracy.
* Schedule, chair and attend meetings to ensure maintenance activities are appropriately scheduled.
Requirements:
* 3+ years Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Med Device industry experience essential in a maintenance role.
* Demonstrated willingness to collaborate with work colleagues.
* Proven ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in the workplace.
* FETAC Level 6 or equivalent in either an E&I or Mechanical discipline.
* Ms Office Suite advanced.
* CMMS experience essential.
