One of Ireland’s leading financial institutions, known for its innovation and customer-centric approach, is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager to join their Cards Change Team. This role is based in Central Park/Sandyford and offers a hybrid working model.
Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst or Project Manager with a background in Payments and Card Products. You will play a key role in delivering change initiatives across card systems, including areas such as Authorisations, Chip Card Settings, Settlements, and Fraud. Your responsibilities will include gathering and analysing business requirements, managing multiple concurrent projects, and ensuring alignment with project management standards. You will also liaise with internal and third-party stakeholders to develop business cases and support testing and implementation phases.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead and manage card systems change projects from initiation to delivery.
* Develop business cases, formalise requirements, and assess benefits and risks.
* Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to gather effort estimates and ensure project alignment.
* Act as a business test resource when required.
* Prepare and present business reports and project updates.
* Ensure adherence to industry-standard design principles and project management methodologies.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis or project management, ideally within the Cards Business. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills are essential. You should be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and hold a 3rd level degree or PM qualification. Experience in areas such as Authorisations, Chip Card Settings, Settlements, and Fraud is highly desirable.
