Regional EHS Manager – Connacht – Data Centre
We are currently partnering with a bespoke Fire, Security and IT Solutions design, installation and support provider operation on Major Construction and Mission Critical projects across Europe and Ireland.
Due to continued success, they are seeking a Regional EHS Manager to join them on Data Centre Projects in Connacht.
Responsibilities
* Regional EHS Leadership & Strategy
Provide strategic leadership for Environmental, Health & Safety across multiple live data centre construction projects in the Connacht region, establishing consistent safety standards, driving behavioural safety initiatives, and embedding a proactive safety culture across project teams and subcontractors.
* Compliance, Governance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with Irish health & safety legislation, client requirements, and international best practices through robust governance processes, risk assessments, and regular compliance audits across all sites within the regional portfolio.
* Project Safety Oversight
Oversee EHS performance on complex, fast-paced data centre construction environments, supporting site teams in implementing safe systems of work for high-risk activities including electrical installation, heavy lifting operations, temporary works, and commissioning phases.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Client Interface
Act as the senior regional safety representative when engaging with clients, project directors, consultants, and regulatory authorities, ensuring alignment with stringent data centre safety expectations and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Incident Prevention, Investigation & Continuous Improvement
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation while analysing safety data trends across projects to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous enhancement of regional EHS performance.
Requirements
Must have relevant and valid Health and Safety qualifications i.e. NEBOSH
Must have 6+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (Preferably Data Centres)
Must be based within a commutable distance of Connacht

€85,000 - €90,000 + Package
