Job Description:
Talbot Hotel Wexford, part of the Talbot Collection, are currently recruiting for a Swim Teacher/Leisure Centre Attendant to join our team. This is a part-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operations & co-ordination of swim activities in line with 4 star requirements while providing a high level of member and guest service and providing a happy and safe environment. This role will report to the Leisure Centre Manager.

Duties will include:
Conducting Programmes and Assessments
Teaching Fitness Classes
Teaching swimming
Supervise swimming pool area
Meet highest standard of safety
Present professional appearance and attitude at all times
Maintain a high standard of customer service
Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency
All other duties as assigned and appropriate
Responsible for the safety of the participants in their own class
Instructs and evaluates students participating in swim lessons
Walk children safely between locations and on water/bathroom breaks or have designated swim instructor allocated.
Prepare for swim lesson programs (i.e. facilities, equipment, rosters, lifeguard).
Supervise, organize, and execute swim lessons, including: assigning children to levels,
The successful candidate will have:
* Friendly and professional work attitude;
* Assistant or Full WSI, Swim Ireland Swim Teacher of equivalent
* Fluent English essential - written and spoken;
* Must be available to work variable shifts;
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills;
* Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage.
The role involves weekend work, so flexibility is required.
