Electrical Construction Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee the development of our construction projects in Sweden. This is a key leadership role that requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication abilities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Project Planning: Develop detailed construction plans, including scheduling and resource allocation, to ensure timely completion of projects.
* Equipment Acquisition: Coordinate the procurement of equipment, ensuring it meets project specifications and quality standards.
* Contractor Management: Oversee contractor work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and managing subcontractors when necessary.
* Quality Control: Implement measures to ensure installation of equipment items meets required standards and specifications.
* Cost Management: Monitor project costs, tracking equipment items, and ensure projects stay within budget.
* Timeline Management: Oversee project timelines, ensuring installation work is completed on time to avoid delays.
* Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks and issues affecting construction projects.
* Communication: Facilitate effective communication between clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure everyone is aware of project progress.
* Record Keeping: Maintain thorough records of project activities, materials, and changes to the project plan.
* Compliance: Ensure construction projects adhere to building codes, permits, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
* Experience: 8 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within an M&E contractor, is essential.
* Management Experience: Previous management of large site teams is crucial.
* Data Centre Experience: Data Centre experience is advantageous.
* Skills: Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills are required.
* Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS programs is necessary.
