6-12 Month ContractResponsibilities:Sourcing Manager - TechnologyLead to the Technology Group's business management to manage and administer contracts for IT hardware and software spend. Work through subcategories, developing a strategy for vendor cost consolidation.Developing, leading and executing sourcing strategies for the Technology Group's categories, including but not limited to, Software, SAAS, Digital Products & Professional servicesEstablish and manage market exercises (RFX), involving key stakeholders and suppliers, through the process of discovery, analysis, negotiation, and decision making.Proactively collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to lead contract negotiations with suppliers; develop negotiation approaches, fallback positions and acceptable terms and conditions.Building and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholdersEvaluating and leading the implementation of program and process standardization and optimization on existing and new services and processesHelp build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs without compromising supply or qualityLeading projects teams and cross functional initiatives as neededRequirements:EssentialDiploma/ Degree in Business or a related field.5+ years of working experience in Sourcing of IT & Digital categoriesStrong analytical ability and a fact based approach to decision making.In-depth understanding of the governance and regulatory standards required in companies regulated by the financial regulator and CBI.Experience of effective collaboration with senior stakeholders and strategically important suppliersThe ability to multi-task, prioritise and maintain a relentless focus on driving towards a positive outcome.Sound commercial acumen and excellent planning skills to meet demanding deadlinesDesiredStrong industry knowledge within the banking/financial services sector2+ years' experience in leading souring teams.Highly effective communication skills.Demonstrated experience influencing others without direct authorityStrict attention to detailCompetencies for Your Role / Behaviours for Success:Accountability & Decision MakingCommunication & InfluencingCustomer FocusRisk Management
