* Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Support Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.
We are looking for someone with strong accounting and bookkeeping skills to assist the Financial Controller in managing all financial aspects of company strategy and flow of financial information. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be proficient in Microsoft and Sage accounting software, and have experience with payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
* To ensure that all financial transactions related to accounts receivable are accurately recorded and controlled.
* To generate invoices and post receipts in a timely manner.
* To maintain accurate records of customer accounts and credit control.
* To work closely with the project manager to ensure that project budgets and purchase orders are utilized efficiently.
* To prepare monthly and annual accounts to trial balance and reconcile balance sheet.
* To identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase operational efficiency.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 7 years' experience in financial or accounting roles.
* Bookkeeper qualification or degree in finance.
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft and Sage accounting software.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage internal and external relationships, and meet tight deadlines.
