Job Description
The primary role of an Automotive Technician involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles. The successful candidate must have the ability to work efficiently with a high level of accuracy in accordance with dealership standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing work specified on the repair order
* Test driving vehicles and testing components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Technical Skills Requirements
To excel in this position, candidates should possess strong technical skills including:
* A minimum 2 years experience as an Automotive Technician
* A valid State of Michigan "Motor Vehicle Mechanic Certificates" or ASE equivalent
* Familiarity with all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
* Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
