Branch Manager – Automotive Aftermarket
We are a leading name in the automotive aftermarket, committed to providing top-quality products and unparalleled service to our customers. As we continue to grow, we seek a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our operations in Southern Ireland.
As Branch Manager, you will oversee daily activities, including Inbound (receiving, put away/replenishment) and Outbound (pick, pack, and ship) operations. You will manage, train, and schedule a dedicated warehouse team while maintaining productivity and payroll efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide hands-on supervision and direction to warehouse staff to maximise productivity and accuracy.
* Plan and manage daily workloads to ensure all customer orders are shipped on time.
* Sustain a customer-focused environment within the team.
* Train, develop, and manage the team, setting clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring.
* Conduct quarterly physical stock takes, ensuring accurate data input and record-keeping.
* Address supplier performance issues, working closely with Procurement to implement corrective actions.
* Optimise logistics operations, enhancing customer service and cost efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and business acumen.
* Experience in Branch/Distribution Centre operations, preferably in a Store or Business-to-Business environment.
* Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Operating Systems.
* Understanding of Process Improvement methodologies like Six Sigma is desirable.
* Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, driving team success.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and developing effective solutions.
