About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses with acute care experience to join our team and support healthcare facilities across Ireland. This role offers a dynamic environment in hospitals or acute care settings, with opportunities to provide high-quality patient care and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in acute medical or surgical wards, A&E, ICU, or HDU settings.
Monitor, assess, and record patient condition and response to treatment.
Administer medications, injections, and IV therapy as prescribed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with NMBI and HIQA standards.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety procedures.
Respond effectively to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Support junior staff and healthcare assistants as required.
Requirements:
Valid NMBI Registration (active PIN).
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in hospital settings.
Up-to-date Manual Handling, Patient Moving & Handling, Infection Control, and CPR/Basic Life Support certificates.
Eligibility to work in Ireland (EU citizenship or appropriate work visa).
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Desirable:
Previous experience in high-dependency units, A&E, ICU, or medical-surgical wards.
Postgraduate qualification in acute/critical care (optional but advantageous).
