This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced backend engineer to contribute to the development of advanced infrastructure supporting modern software security solutions. In this role, you will design and build scalable backend systems that power critical applications, working in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment. Accountabilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs to support core platform functionalities
Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security through best practices, testing, and code reviews
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability
Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve system design and development processes
Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth within the team
Conduct system evaluations and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and innovation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
At least 5 years of experience in backend development, building scalable and reliable applications
Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern backend development frameworks
Solid experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling best practices
Familiarity with cloud environments and microservices architecture
Strong understanding of system design, performance optimization, and secure coding practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
