We are currently recruiting for a Bar Supervisor.
The main responsibilities for this role is to assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Hourglass Bar ensuring all guest requests are met, on time. You will also assist in the training, development and motivation of a team as well as supervising the area as required.
Specific responsibilities include:
* working with the Food and Beverage Management team in establishing and implementing standards of performance within Food and Beverage
* ensuring all services are offered are of the highest 4* standard.
* assisting in training new employees
* assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in ensuring all costs and expenditure are controlled at all level
* serving food and beverage consistently, maintaining hotel standard
* taking orders to the hotel standard maximising and promoting sales by recommending products where appropriate
We are looking for someone who a proven track record in a similar position, very hands on, leads by example with the ability to motivate a team. We need someone who is flexible with working hours, available to work both late and early shifts.
Successful applicants will ideally have:
* 1 year previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent business like presentation
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Ability to organize and work under pressure
* Experience in leading a team
