Site Health and Safety Professional
This role plays a vital part in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, promoting a proactive safety culture, and minimizing risk. It supports the project team in maintaining high standards of workplace health and safety.
* Develop and implement site-specific safety plans to ensure effective control measures are in place.
* Provide guidance on health and safety best practices and procedures to management, safety representatives, and employees.
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and walkthroughs to identify and mitigate hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor contractor performance and provide feedback to ensure safe work practices are adopted.
* Deliver training sessions on health and safety matters to site operatives, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
* Lead investigations into incidents, near misses, and accidents, and recommend corrective actions.
Environmental Management:
* Implement waste segregation and spill prevention measures to minimize environmental impact.
* Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and company sustainability goals.
Reporting and Compliance:
* Maintain accurate records of site inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
* Prepare regular reports on site health and safety performance for project and corporate teams.
