Our services encompass design, certification, and provision of installation kits to help clients redeliver aircraft or adapt them to meet new operational demands.Key Accountabilities of the roleDevelopment of compliant designs and/or design artefacts in accordance with EASA Design handbookLiaison with the Project Manager for delivery of design, certification, production, installation design support elements of the project proactively providing feedback on the progress and status of the assigned tasks.On time submission of timesheets such that Project Manager can track project hours accurately.Complying with all Nova WHS policies and Safety Management System and proceduresContinuously develop your competencies and technical expertise required for your roleWork collaboratively within the team and the business.Adhering to company guidelines and standard operating proceduresDemonstrate the Nova core values – Trust, Professionalism, Passion, Community.Essential Experience Tertiary education or suitable professional engineering qualification in the following areas based on discipline:For cabin safety/structures/mechanical design – aeronautical/aerospace/mechanical engineeringFor avionics/electrical design - Electrical/electronic/mechatronics engineeringCompetence in AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD tools.Eligibility to work in Ireland without sponsorship Ability to work with a wide range of people in a broad spectrum of projects.Ability to deliver tasks on time and under pressure, be accountable to the quality of the work produced with a high degree of accuracy.High level of verbal and communication skills.Flexible, positive and committed team member who works to a very high standard.Desirable Experience Experience in the aerospace industry, preferably working in EASA, FAA or UK CAA design organizations.Competence in one or more of the following technical domains:For mechanical/structural design - aerospace materials, corrosion inspection & protection, sheet metal works, weight and balance, joints and fittings.For electrical/avionics design - RTCA DO-178 and DO-254, system safety analysis, electrical loads analysis, EWIS.Experience working around and on aircraft to perform aircraft surveys and embodiment of modifications.Experience working in an aerospace design and manufacturing environment.Competence in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD tools for cabin safety/structures/mechanical designSound knowledge of acceptable methods, techniques, and practices for aircraft maintenance per AC43.13 and/or CAP562 and/or Aircraft OEM maintenance manuals and standard practices.Sound knowledge of civil regulatory requirements and associated advisory circulars related to design (e.g. Part 21, CS-23, CS-25, AC25-17A, AC Self-motivated with ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Why Join UsAt Nova Systems, you'll be part of a mission-driven team that values innovation, trust, and collaboration.
