LEAD THE SMASH!!
Bunda Brothers is hiring a leader who can build a team that performs, run a high-volume operation properly, and keep standards high when the pace is on.
This is not a clipboard manager role.
We need someone who leads from the front, coaches hard, fixes issues early, and knows how to keep both kitchen and front-of-house sharp.
This role covers both the sites operation and Bunda’s food truck/event side, supporting service at everything from Thomond Park match days to large festivals and major events.
If you can run a fast shift, build a solid team, and keep labour, standards and service under control, you’ll do well here.
The role
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation and help build a team that is fast, switched on and consistent. You’ll be leading a mixed skill team across kitchen and FOH, making sure the site is properly staffed, properly managed and properly run.
You’ll also play a key role in supporting Bunda’s mobile/event operation, helping ensure the food truck is staffed, organised and executed properly for busy external events.
What you’ll be responsible for
Lead, coach and develop a mixed skill team across kitchen and FOH
Build smart rotas that protect labour %, cover peak trading and keep service moving
Support staffing and operational planning for the food truck and off-site events
Help deliver strong execution at external events, including match days, festivals and high-volume pop-ups
Run daily briefs, set expectations and drive strong shift execution
Deal with performance issues early through feedback, coaching and follow-through
Support hiring and onboarding to keep the operation stable and scalable
Keep standards tight across cleanliness, presentation, speed, accuracy and customer recovery
Use KPIs to improve behaviours and performance, not just report numbers
Be visible on shift and set the tone for pace, standards and accountability
What we’re looking for
Experience as a GM, Assistant GM, or a strong Shift Manager ready to step up
Background in QSR, takeaway, fast casual, catering or high-volume event food
Strong people leadership and confidence in performance conversations
Solid labour planning and rota building ability
Hands on operator who leads from the floor, not the office
Good kitchen understanding and enough operational grip to own outcomes
Direct, consistent communicator with high standards
Calm, organised and reliable under pressure
Flexible enough to support event trading where required
What you’ll get
Competitive salary, depending on experience
Monthly KPI-based bonus
1-week each Christmas from Dec 27th
A leadership role with real accountability and authority
A fast-moving business where standards matter
Exposure to both site operations and major external events
Real room to grow with an expanding brand
