Accounts Assistant (Maternity Cover) – Live Operations

We're looking for an organised and analytical Accounts Assistant to support our Live Operations finance team on a maternity cover contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, supporting commercial decisions, and building strong working relationships.
Who You Are
* Strong numerical, analytical and Excel skills
* Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to prioritise in a fast paced environment
* Studying toward AAT/ACCA/CIMA (desirable, not essential)
* Experience with financial systems is an advantage
The Role
* Update, analyse and distribute weekly KPI reports
* Review farmer performance data and provide insights
* Assist with weekly gate cost accounts and reconciliations
* Manage purchase orders and liaise with suppliers
* Handle farmer and supplier queries professionally
* Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting, analysis and process improvements
