In 2014, after eight years of intensive software development, we launched Kneat Gx—the world’s most advanced validation software to help revolutionize the speed, precision, transparency, and intelligence of validation in the Life Sciences sector. Our solution is now used by some of the world’s leading Life Sciences companies.
What we’re looking for
As Kneat continues to expand, we are looking for an enthusiastic Software Development Manager to join our R&D group.
Duties and Responsibilities

Lead a multidisciplinary team of developers/engineers and manage their career growth through outstanding mentoring and coaching.
Support the ramp up of the group including hiring, establishing development processes and tooling, infrastructure setup, etc
Recruiting external talent to supplement the existing pool and skill gaps
Delivery, oversight and understanding of all commitments and deliverables.
Identify blockers and implement changes to improve developer efficiency
Ensure focus on delivery velocity from idea to customer
Embrace AI and champion it’s use within the software development team.
Ensure focus on the alignment of delivery content and high quality with strategic goals
Constantly communicate all of the relevant status
Oversee budget and availability of appropriate resource and environment
Balance delivery with customer support and system maintenance while allowing for unplanned interruptions
4+ years as a development manager in a software company
Excellent knowledge of modern development technologies and tools
Excellent communication skills, friendly and empathetic

Nice to Haves

AWS Solutions, particularly containerised
CI/CD automated pipelines
Regulated Life Sciences industry, quality disciplines
Behaviour Driven Development
