Renewable Energy Sales Executive
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a pipeline of prospective clients interested in home energy upgrades and renewable solutions.
* Advise homeowners, businesses, and partners on grant processes, project timelines, technical upgrade options, and financial implications.
* Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, architects, and local authorities to drive business development.
* Conduct site or virtual consultations to assess energy needs and recommend tailored retrofit solutions.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects meet guidelines, are accurately scoped, and delivered efficiently.
* Prepare clear proposals outlining upgrade options, payback periods, and ROI.
* Stay updated with changes in grant schemes, building regulations, and the wider renewable landscape.
* Oversee contracts and negotiations to ensure alignment with customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
* Track sales activities and project progress using CRM software.
Requirements
* Proven experience in renewable energy sales, construction, or home energy retrofit projects.
* Strong knowledge of grant schemes (SEAI).
* BER Assessor qualification or solid working knowledge of BER principles and building energy performance.
* Background in construction, engineering, or energy efficiency highly preferred.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
* Ability to understand technical drawings, building plans, and compliance documentation.
* Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital communication platforms.
* Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
