Training & Support:
* Free Manual Handling Training
* 24/7 support line
* Dedicated Care Management Team
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Assisting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
* Supporting clients with mobility and transfers
* Preparing meals and supporting with feeding if required
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Supporting medication prompts/reminders
* Carrying out light household duties (tidying, laundry, etc.)
* Promoting client independence and dignity at all times
* Reporting concerns or changes in health to the office promptly
* Accurately recording visit notes and care updates
You must have:
* Good spoken and written English is essential
* Previous work experience in Ireland is essential
* Flexibility to work every second weekend.
* Evening and weekend availability (preferred)
* 2 QQI Level 5 modules (Care Skills/Healthcare Support and Care of the Older Person)
OR
* 1+ year of HCA experience and a willingness to complete the modules.
