Position Description The Dublin Stations are comprised of Dublin Bay Power and Poolbeg power plants.
The successful candidate will assume the role of Assurance Team Member Dublin Stations.
The successful candidate will be a team player and self-starter with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and manage, develop and motivate team members.
They will also have a demonstrable ability to communicate and relate effectively with staff at all levels in the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Managing the online and local induction processes for on-site Contractors.
Monitoring and auditing of safety on site and supporting the Safe and Sound and SSOW projects.
Carrying out the role of Station Safety Officer.
Managing and supervising contractors, issuing work permits and performing the Work Controller role.
Chemical and Environmental sampling and analysis.
Ensure the effective control of power station chemistry to maintain high availability, efficiency, reliability and maintainability.
Ensure that the power plant is operated within the discharge consents and site license issued by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Support the management of the Green House Gas Emissions Permit.
Support compliance with corporate and other relevant standards including, but not limited to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 55001.
Liaise with internal & external stakeholders.
Work flexibly to meet changing operational and business requirements, which will include supporting other parts of the business.
Any other duties which may be assigned to you, from time to time, by Dublin Stations Management.
Experience and Qualifications Essential Minimum 3- 5 years relevant experience.
A safety or chemistry or environmental qualification or equivalent work experience is required.
Operation of safety and environmental management systems.
Environmental Licence Compliance.
Plant Chemistry including laboratory analysis.
Contractor Management.
Desirable Experience in a combined cycle power plant or similar process industry using steam and water cycles.
Location This position will be based in Dublin Stations.
Reporting To The successful candidate will report to Assurance Manager, Dublin Stations.
