We are seeking an experienced
SAP Commerce Cloud DevOps Engineer-Architect
to take a leading role in shaping, automating, and optimizing our SAP Commerce Cloud delivery lifecycle. In this pivotal position, you will drive the automation of deployments, champion DevOps best practices, and ensure the secure, scalable, and high-performance delivery of our e-commerce platform.
This role requires a deep understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud architecture and deployment models, combined with hands-on DevOps expertise and strong cloud engineering capabilities. You will serve as the technical authority for SAP Commerce Cloud DevOps, guiding development, operations, and security teams toward seamless and continuous delivery.
Responsibilities
Automation & Deployment
* Design and implement advanced automation solutions using DevOps tools and scripting to streamline SAP Commerce Cloud deployment processes.
* Develop, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines tailored specifically for SAP Commerce Cloud workloads.
Cloud & Platform Engineering
* Lead the adoption and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP for SAP Commerce Cloud deployments.
* Ensure alignment with SAP cloud best practices and integration across the broader IT ecosystem.
DevOps Culture & Collaboration
* Foster a collaborative DevOps culture by driving communication and alignment between development, operations, and security teams.
* Champion continuous improvement and modern engineering practices throughout the organization.
Monitoring, Performance & Security
* Implement and optimize monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerting strategies for SAP Commerce Cloud environments.
* Integrate security best practices throughout the deployment lifecycle, including vulnerability assessments, secure coding, and compliance with SAP security standards.
Experience
1. 5+ years
of DevOps engineering experience with a strong focus on SAP Commerce Cloud deployments.
2. Proven hands-on experience building automation solutions using DevOps tools and scripting languages.
3. Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices, configuration management tools, and their application within SAP Commerce Cloud.
4. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) & SAP Cloud ALM knowledge is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
