The successful candidate will ideally have a proven track record in sales within the motor industry, be proactive and target-oriented, excel at understanding customer needs, possess excellent communication skills, work well as part of a team and hold a full valid driving licence. Key duties include achieving maximum profitability on new vehicle sales whilst promoting finance insurance auxiliary products providing exceptional customer service throughout the sale process meeting all customer expectations building strong relationships with customers visiting the dealership proactively seeking opportunities outside the showroom environment implementing consistent sales processes for each model exceeding volume mix targets enhancing administrative efficiency holding high-quality meetings negotiation improving KPI standards following up past leads increasing average order value accordingly creating alternative revenue streams consistently hitting commission targets executing database management campaigning targeting directly actively approaching external contacts continuous data analysis teamwork customisation quality established partnerships engaging staff competitive working prices intelligence strategic tactical specialist reporting co-ordination strategic facilitation thorough keeping operations.
